Our mission:

Getting the Word Across!

Our purpose is to actively Invite people into God's family, Nurture them with Christ's love, and Send them out to serve others.

Our vision:

Worship

We invite you to join us for worship, every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday School for the children takes place during a portion of the morning service.

Holy Communion is offered each week.

Members' lives are regularly recognized and celebrated in worship.

Prayer Circle

The Prayer Circle is a dedicated group of men and women who pray for each other, our congregation, the community and the world at large. People give us prayer requests, and we pray for them as a group.  
The Prayer Circle meets every Tuesday at Holy Cross at 11:00 a.m., and is open to anyone who would like to contribute their prayers, or to anyone who needs to bring certain concerns to the Circle. Simply show up to attend. 
If you need more information, please call the church at 705-526-4007.
If you would like to submit a prayer request, you can do so by calling the above number and leave a message. The prayer requests can be anonymous. If you feel that you need someone to pray over you or someone you know, please feel free to email us from wherever you are. 

Reaching Out

At Holy Cross, we want to offer the Labyrinth as an opportunity for you to get in touch with God, and to know that God is a constant companion in your daily life journey. We know that God affirms people from all walks of life. Your path with God may begin or continue here! Look for the labyrinth on the parking lot at the back of the church.

We are active in supporting Canadian Lutheran World Relief through providing quilts and kits for men, women and children living in Third World countries.

TGIF - To Gather in Friendship

Each month we serve a luncheon meal aimed at seniors (but anyone is welcome) in the community - To Gather In Friendship - a few hours of good food, singing and having a good time. These luncheons happen at 12 noon, the last Friday of every month with the exception of July and August.

Women

ELW (Evangelical Lutheran Women)

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, ELW is a community of women which recognizes the authority of Scripture in its understanding of mission, in the affirmation, growth and development of women and in the expression of faith in action.

The Holy Cross ELW meets the first Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the church. The aim and goal of the congregational ELW is to share the gospel and offer physical and financial help in the ongoing ministry of Holy Cross.
